Called For More

“Responsive Service” is

Part of our Core Values

Responding to the needs of our church family and community is a big part of who we are. Over 20% of our annual budget goes towards support of Missions. Within our church we provide nourishing meals to the local homeless and hungry through our Saturday Breakfast, Sunday Brunch, and Blessing Box Programs. Within our community, we partner with organizations like the West Chester Food Cupboard, Bridge of Hope, Unto, and West Chester University to support those outside our doors. Beyond our town, we prioritize our American Baptist denomination in supporting United Mission and International Missionaries.

Social Justice is also an important part of our Mission focus. Pslam 82:3 says “Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.” Social Justice is an extension of God’s love in defending those who cannot defend themselves.

There are always opportunities to help with BCWC’s music, children, and education programs as well!
