“Prayer involves transformed passions. In prayer, real prayer, we begin to think God's thoughts after Him: to desire the things He desires, to love the things He loves, to will the things He wills . . . If we truly love people, we will desire for them far more than it is within our power to give them, and this will lead us to prayer: Intercession is a way of loving others.” – Richard J. Foster

Regular Sunday Schedule
Worship at 10:45 a.m., preceded by Christian Education (C.E.) classes at 9:30 a.m. As always, we will have classes for all ages. In recognition of our church’s 175th anniversary, this year’s theme is “Creating Our History.”

Families needing to drop off their children would call your cell number five minutes before pulling into the front of the church or back parking lot. Please contact Elberta Clinton to participate in this service.

New Small Group Begins February 7, 6:00 p.m.
Saying, “I Love You” is the theme for a small group that will begin tonight from 6 -7:30 p.m. in Lowry Hall. Jim and Betty Layton will be leading the time designed for young marrieds and couples with children. Child care will be provided.

The youth will be collecting today for "The Souper Bowl of Caring".  You can read more about it online at souperbowl.org.  We are encouraging each person to give $1 (or more if you would like).  ALL donations will be split and given to our BCWC Saturday morning breakfast and Safe Harbor in West Chester.  It's a great way to remember that during Super Bowl Sunday, there are many without "soup".
