Each week, BCWC provides a weekly free Saturday breakfast and Sunday brunch for those in need. We also partner with the West Chester Food Cupboard to provide shelf stable food and hygiene products through our Blessing Box.

Free new and gently used clothes and hygiene items are collected and available for anyone who needs them.

BCWC is currently working with Friends Association to convert part of our church building (the second floor of the “church house”) into an affordable apartment for a family in need of housing.

To do that, congregations need to be strong and vital, equipped to carry out this life-saving and life-changing mission. ACT in Faith provides services that address issues that present as barrier to self-sustainability and household stability.

We serve families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the Chester County area. Families that we partner with benefit from a network of Christian faith volunteers, rental assistance, and intensive case management as they work to achieve long term stability.

At Friends Association, we believe in a holistic approach to supporting families facing homelessness. We address the challenges of housing equity while providing programs and services that support our neighbors on their journeys toward stable, permanent housing.

The primary mission of the historic Charles A. Melton Arts and Education Center is to provide civic, arts, recreation, and education (CARE) programs and services to underserved individuals and families in the West Chester area.

The West Chester Food Cupboard commits to provide a variety of healthy food items to people in need in our community.
