Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) Training

We will host a Citizens Corps/VOAD (Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster) Training from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Topics will include: Introduction to VOAD; Introduction to Disasters; Fire Safety; Flood Safety; Disaster Preparedness; Building a Home Emergency Kit; and Introduction to Mass Care and Shelter Operations. After taking this course, participants will be credentialed to help on a voluntary basis as needed during a large-scale disaster. Register below or at the Info Table in Lowry Hall.
