Rev. David Braneky, Pastor
Rev. David A. Braneky begins as pastor of the Baptist Church of West Chester on January 3, 2012. His first Sunday in the pulpit will be January 8.
Pastor Dave is a graduate of Messiah College and Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Seminary). Previously he served for seven years as pastor of the Lansdowne (PA) Baptist Church. Pastor Dave and his wife, Leanne Krueger-Braneky, are looking forward to the birth of their first child in December.
In the November-December issue of The Messenger newsletter, Pastor Dave wrote: “On October 9, I was pleased to receive the call to be pastor of the Baptist Church of West Chester. My decision to accept the call was based on my observation that the congregation wants an inspiring worship service and is a church that reaches beyond themselves into the community and beyond.
“I gathered that BCWC is a ministry/mission-oriented church, and that excites me. My decision was also based on my observation that the Spirit of Christ is found among the congregation.
“My wife, Leanne, and I are looking forward not only to the arrival of our first child in December, but also to our move, our first Sunday, our first year and an extended ministry of sharing our journeys of faith. May God bless us as we accept the blessings and challenges God has given.”
Caron Cramer, Director of Youth Ministries
Caron Cramer is our youth ministries director. She is a certified health and physical education teacher and has her coaching certificate. Caron has taught and coached field hockey and lacrosse at Widener University, Unionville High School, and is currently teaching 3 year olds at a Christian preschool.

Along with her youth and young adult responsibilities, Caron is on the Stephen Ministry Team and is an ex-officio member of the BCWC’s Christian Education Board.
Caron enjoys playing field hockey and tennis, reading, and playing with her daughter, Leah. One of her goals in life is to love and serve the Lord with joy. Two of her favorite scriptures are Proverbs 3:5-6 and Philippians 4:13. Her favorite musical artists, when feeling mellow is “Selah,” and when it is time for rockin’, it is “The David Crowder Band.”
